I’m an adventure lover, so Zhangjiajie’s unique rock formations and glass bridges were a must-visit for me. But I didn’t want a generic tour—I wanted to focus on the most thrilling spots and have enough time for photos. That’s why I went for this company’s Tailor Make Itinerary service, and it was exactly what I needed! First, the customer service team was amazing—they asked about my adventure level and photography interests, then designed an itinerary that included Tianmen Mountain Glass Plank Road, Yuanjiajie Scenic Area (where Avatar was filmed!), and Golden Whip Stream. They even adjusted the order to avoid the midday crowds at the glass plank road—we went first thing in the morning, so I had almost the entire plank road to myself for photos! Our guide, Alex, is a local who knows all the hidden trails. He took us to a secret viewpoint in Yuanjiajie where we could see the “Hallelujah Mountains” without any other tourists—my photos there got so many likes on social media! He also knew the best times to visit each spot for lighting, which was a huge help for my photography. For meals, he recommended local Hunan dishes, but since I don’t like too much spice, he asked the restaurants to tone it down. The accommodation they booked was a cozy hotel near the scenic area, so we didn’t have to travel far each day. I wrote a detailed PRODUCT REVIEW on Tripadvisor because this tailor-made itinerary made my Zhangjiajie trip the most exciting adventure of my life. If you’re an adventure or photography fan, this is the service for you!

The Xi’an Terracotta Army day trip was exceptionally well-organized! The driver picked us up promptly from our hotel in a clean, comfortable vehicle. Our guide’s historical expertise was impressive – he explained every detail of the pits and Qin Dynasty history. Lunch at a local restaurant featured authentic Shaanxi noodles. The additional stop at Huaqing Pool was a bonus, with captivating stories about Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei. Iced water was provided on the return trip – a thoughtful touch. Ideal for travelers short on time but eager for in-depth history.

Our family’s custom tour through Beijing, Xi’an, and Guilin was lovely—way better than just flipping through photos. In Beijing, the kids actually put down their tablets to chase stray cats in the hutongs, while my parents chatted with a street vendor about old times. The Forbidden City was grand, but those little moments felt more real. Xi’an’s terracotta army surprised us. We thought it’d be “just old statues,” but hearing how each soldier was crafted differently made the kids lean in, asking questions. Even my grumpy teen admitted, “That’s pretty cool.” Guilin was the relaxer. Floating down the Li River, no rush, just pointing out hills that looked like elephants or camels. The kids argued over who saw a fish first, and my wife and I sipped tea, quiet. It wasn’t all “magic”—we got lost once, and the food was spicy (too spicy for the kids). But that’s what made it ours. A trip that didn’t just show us China, but gave us stories to laugh about at dinners for years. Thanks for that.

Our family’s journey through Beijing, Shanghai, and Harbin was pure magic. Beijing’s ancient grandeur—those imperial palaces and the Great Wall—left us in awe, a perfect blend of history and majesty. Shanghai dazzled with its futuristic skyline, where skyscrapers glow like stars, yet the old lanes hold so much charm. Harbin, with its sparkling ice sculptures, felt like a winter fairy tale, especially watching the kids laugh while sliding on ice. China’s beauty is overwhelming—so vast, so varied, and every corner feels special. None of this would have been as smooth without TST Cross-Border Travel. Their plans fit our family perfectly, no stress, just joy. And Lily, our guide, was wonderful—knowledgeable, patient with the kids, and full of little stories that made each place come alive. We’ll carry these memories forever. Merci, TST and Lily—you made our China dream come true!

I love spicy food, and I’ve always wanted to go to Chengdu for authentic Sichuan cuisine and to see giant pandas. So I found this company’s Day-trips service on Trustpilot—many Malaysian tourists gave good reviews, so I booked it. It was really great! Guide Xiao Chen is a Chengdu local who knows all about food. In the morning, she took us to see giant pandas—she knew when they’re most active, so we saw them eating bamboo and climbing trees, so cute! After seeing the pandas, we went to Kuanzhai Alleys. She didn’t just take us to the main street; she led us to the side alleys with many unique shops. I bought Shu embroidery as a souvenir. Lunch was the highlight! Xiao Chen took us to a small local restaurant (called “cang ying guan zi” in Chinese—small but authentic). The mapo tofu, twice-cooked pork, and spicy beef slices were all delicious; I couldn’t stop eating! She also taught us how to eat Sichuan food without being too spicy, like pairing it with ice jelly—so thoughtful. In the afternoon, we went to Jinli. She told us Jinli’s history and recommended snacks like “san da pao” (glutinous rice balls) and “tang you guo zi” (fried sugar dough)—all tasty. The itinerary was slow-paced, not rushed at all, like wandering Chengdu with a local friend. I’ve recommended it to my family and friends in Malaysia. Next time I go to Chengdu, I’ll definitely choose their City Packages to explore Chengdu fully!

My friends from Singapore and I are all nature lovers; we’ve always wanted to go to Xinjiang to see the grasslands, but worried that the small group service wouldn’t adapt to Singaporean habits. When we saw the positive review of this “Xinjiang Singaporean Exclusive Small Group” on Tripadvisor, saying that the guide understands Singaporean tastes and arranges halal meals, we formed a team to sign up—and it turned out to be our best trip this year! Our small group had 6 people, all Singaporeans. Guide Xiao Ma is a local Hui person in Xinjiang; he speaks Chinese + simple English, so there was no communication barrier. The itinerary covers Sayram Lake, Nalati Grassland, and Karajun Grassland. Xiao Ma knew we liked a slow pace, so he only arranged 1-2 attractions per day, leaving enough time for taking photos. When we were at Nalati Grassland, he took us to a herdsman’s home as guests; the halal milk tea was added with condensed milk that Singaporeans like, and the hand-grasped meat was served with onion sauce (not greasy). The herdsmen also taught us to dance Kazakh dances, and the video my friend took became popular on Singaporean social media! For food, Xiao Ma arranged halal restaurants throughout the trip, such as “Ailizhati Halal Restaurant” in Yining. The recommended spicy chicken pot (adjusted to mild spiciness) and roasted buns (super fragrant lamb filling) were more authentic than the Xinjiang restaurants in Singapore. The transportation used was a 7-seater business car with large space, and it was also equipped with sunscreen and mosquito repellent commonly used by Singaporeans (there are many mosquitoes on Xinjiang’s grasslands). The most touching part was that a friend suddenly caught a cold; Xiao Ma immediately went to the pharmacy to buy “Happiness Cold Tablets” which are common in Singapore, and also boiled ginger water for him. After returning to Singapore, we wrote a PRODUCT REVIEW in the travel group, and many people asked about the booking method—this Small Group not only let us see the beauty of Xinjiang but also made us feel “at home” through details; we will definitely bring our families here again next time!

I chose this company for a Guilin day trip after seeing the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor, and I must admit, all the praise is absolutely true! The service was impeccable from the booking confirmation to the end of the tour. The online客服 responded quickly and answered all my questions about the Li River bamboo raft. The guide was waiting punctually in the hotel lobby on the day, and her English was very fluent. She not only explained the scenery but also shared stories about the local way of life, which was fascinating. Lunch was included and was at a family farm; the food was fresh farm-to-table and incredibly delicious. After returning, I even received an email from the company with a link to the photos taken that day! This level of service beyond expectations was truly touching. I will definitely leave another 5-star review on Tripadvisor.

Our family's small group tour in Zhangjiajie was absolutely perfect! The guide spoke both Chinese and English, so communication was zero problem for us Indonesian Chinese. He took us on the back trails of Yuanjiajie, completely avoiding the crowds, and we took many amazing photos. The sea of clouds at Tianzi Mountain was like a fairy tale; the kids were amazed. Most thoughtfully, the guide knew we are Muslim and specially arranged meals at halal restaurants within the scenic area. Although options were limited, we felt very respected. The seats for the evening "Charming Xiangxi" show were also great. The entire itinerary was well-paced and not tiring at all. Thank you so much!

As a Singaporean Chinese, I’ve long dreamed of Xinjiang’s grassland scenery, but always worried about the tiredness of long-distance travel and food adaptation. When I saw the review of this Small Group Tour on Tripadvisor—“7-person small group + full-process business car + halal food guarantee”—I booked it without hesitation, and this journey became my most unforgettable experience this year! Our small group had 6 people; guide Alim is a local Kazakh in Xinjiang, who speaks fluent Chinese and simple English, so communication was smooth. We started from Urumqi, taking a 7-seater business car throughout the trip—spacious and comfortable, with daily driving time controlled within 3 hours, no tiredness at all. The first stop was Nalati Grassland; Alim took us into a herdsman’s yurt, where we drank freshly boiled salty milk tea and listened to him tell the nomadic stories of the Kazakh people. He also taught us to ride horses, choosing docile ponies for the elderly in the group, and held the reins to protect them throughout—very careful. The food was my favorite part: the “Ailizhati Halal Restaurant” arranged by Alim had pilaf with tender and flavorful mutton, crispy-skinned roasted buns, and even the vegetable salad dressing was confirmed alcohol-free, perfectly matching Singaporean tastes (not too salty or greasy). At Sayram Lake, he prepared a picnic mat and halal snacks in advance; we sat by the lake watching the snow-capped mountain reflections and feeling the breeze—this comfort exceeded expectations. The most thoughtful part was the details: knowing Singaporeans are afraid of sunburn, Alim prepared sun hats for everyone; the homestay at night had an electric kettle (convenient for making coffee brought from Singapore); on the last day of the trip, he also helped us purchase Xinjiang specialties (raisins, almonds) and sent them directly to the airport for checked luggage. After returning to Singapore, I posted grassland photos on Moments, and many friends asked me for the booking link—this Small Group Tour balances “comfort” and “characteristics” perfectly, definitely worth recommending!
