Our small group tour in Zhangjiajie with only 6 people was incredible! The guide was extremely professional and took us on some lesser-known paths in the forest park, perfectly avoiding the crowded tour groups. At Tianzi Mountain, we saw the sea of clouds swirling around the peaks, it was like a fairy tale. The guide was also a skilled photographer and proactively took photos for each of us from the best angles. The included Bailong Elevator ticket saved us about two hours of queueing. The Tujia-style dinner in the evening was a fantastic local experience, sour, spicy, and delicious. Our group mates from the US and Canada became fast friends, the atmosphere was great. This small group tour truly offers an in-depth experience, highly recommended!

As a Muslim traveler, I always worried about halal food issues during trips to China—until I saw the positive reviews of this “Chengdu Muslim-Friendly City Package” on Trustpilot. After the actual experience, it completely dispelled my concerns! The package covers three core attractions: Chengdu Panda Base, Jinli Ancient Street, and Qingyang Palace. Guide A Ling understood my needs in advance and arranged halal-certified restaurants throughout the trip, such as “Huangchengba Halal Food” for beef pancakes and mutton soup. The meat was fresh and compliant with religious teachings, and even the drinks were confirmed alcohol-free.
When visiting the Panda Base, A Ling deliberately avoided peak hours and took us to observe pandas eating at close range. She also explained panda conservation knowledge in French + Malay (my husband is French, so communication was smooth). When touring Jinli, she helped us select halal food stalls and recommended sweet osmanthus cakes and almond tea—moderate sweetness, perfectly suited to Malaysian tastes. The most thoughtful part was that 15-20 minutes of prayer time was reserved during each day’s itinerary; A Ling checked in advance for mosques or quiet prayer spots near the attractions, so I didn’t have to worry about my religious needs.
On the last day of the trip, A Ling also took us to a halal Sichuan opera teahouse, choosing “face-changing + fire-breathing” performances without pork elements—allowing us to experience local culture without violating our beliefs. After returning to Malaysia, I wrote a detailed PRODUCT REVIEW on a Muslim travel forum, and many friends asked me for the booking link. If you’re a Muslim wanting to travel to Chengdu, choosing this City Package is definitely correct—it perfectly balances faith and travel!

Chengdu, you stole my heart. This solo trip was everything I dreamed of—and more. Waking up to the smell of spicy hotpot in the air, wandering through the tree-lined streets of Jinli, sipping tea in a centuries-old teahouse while listening to locals chat… it felt like stepping into a warm, lively story.
But the highlight? The pandas. Oh, those fluffy giants! Watching a baby panda roll around in the grass, munching bamboo like it’s the best snack on earth—my heart practically melted. I stood there grinning like a kid, snapping photos (though none capture their magic). It’s a moment I’ll replay forever.
This trip wasn’t just about seeing sights—it was about feeling joy, slow and sweet. Chengdu, thank you for the memories. I’ll be back, with more tea and a bigger smile.

I am full of curiosity about China’s ancient history, especially the Tang Dynasty culture, so I chose Xi’an’s Small Group Tour. When I saw the reviews of this company on Tripadvisor, “small group size” and “guide with rich historical knowledge” were the most attractive points—and after the actual experience, I think this is the most rewarding trip I have had in China!
Our small group had only 6 people from different countries, and Guide Lao Zhou graduated from the history department and has a thorough understanding of Xi’an’s history. When we went to the Terracotta Army, he didn’t just take us to see the pit groups, but explained in detail the gestures and costumes of each terracotta warrior (which represented their identities), and even showed us color photos of the terracotta warriors when they were just unearthed on his mobile phone (I never knew the terracotta warriors were originally colored!). He also explained in a mix of simple English and Hindi to ensure I could understand everything; this patience moved me a lot.
The most surprising part of the trip was the night tour of the Tang Dynasty Never-Sleeping City: Lao Zhou took us to watch the performance of the “Tumbler Lady,” explained the night market culture of the Tang Dynasty, and recommended local “roujiamo” (meat sandwich) and “yangrou paomo” (lamb soup with steamed bread). I told Lao Zhou that I like spicy food, so he specially took me to a small shop and added special chili oil—the taste was spicy and satisfying, more distinctive than the spicy snacks I have eaten in India!
The transportation and tickets for the whole trip were arranged by the travel agency; I didn’t have to queue or find routes by myself, saving a lot of time. Lao Zhou would also remind us of the next day’s weather and clothing (the temperature difference between morning and evening in Xi’an is very large) after the end of each day’s itinerary. After returning to India, I wrote a detailed PRODUCT REVIEW on my travel blog, and many readers left messages saying they wanted to refer to my itinerary—if you are interested in Chinese history, you must choose this Small Group Tour; it will make you feel as interesting as “reading a living history book”!

I’m an adventure lover, so Zhangjiajie’s unique rock formations and glass bridges were a must-visit for me. But I didn’t want a generic tour—I wanted to focus on the most thrilling spots and have enough time for photos. That’s why I went for this company’s Tailor Make Itinerary service, and it was exactly what I needed! First, the customer service team was amazing—they asked about my adventure level and photography interests, then designed an itinerary that included Tianmen Mountain Glass Plank Road, Yuanjiajie Scenic Area (where Avatar was filmed!), and Golden Whip Stream. They even adjusted the order to avoid the midday crowds at the glass plank road—we went first thing in the morning, so I had almost the entire plank road to myself for photos! Our guide, Alex, is a local who knows all the hidden trails. He took us to a secret viewpoint in Yuanjiajie where we could see the “Hallelujah Mountains” without any other tourists—my photos there got so many likes on social media! He also knew the best times to visit each spot for lighting, which was a huge help for my photography. For meals, he recommended local Hunan dishes, but since I don’t like too much spice, he asked the restaurants to tone it down. The accommodation they booked was a cozy hotel near the scenic area, so we didn’t have to travel far each day. I wrote a detailed PRODUCT REVIEW on Tripadvisor because this tailor-made itinerary made my Zhangjiajie trip the most exciting adventure of my life. If you’re an adventure or photography fan, this is the service for you!
