Guests arrive in Kunming, the “Land of Colorful Clouds,” where our staff will provide airport pickup and transfer to the hotel for check-in

After breakfast, visit Yunnan’s only national-level resort area, West Hill Longmen Scenic Area (entrance transport not included, optional 60 CNY/person). Located about 10 km west of Kunming, it’s known as “the best scenic spot in central Yunnan.” Explore the Longmen Grottoes, carved into the steepest cliff of the West Hill, featuring ancient stone engravings including Wenchu Star and Kuixing Pavilion, with panoramic views of Dianchi Lake and Kunming city. Then enjoy free time at Cha Ma Flower Street, with its Republican-era charm, local snacks, and handcrafted arts. After lunch, transfer to Chuxiong for hotel check-in

After breakfast, drive to Erhai Park for sightseeing and photo stops (optional Erhai Lake cruise with lakeside lunch available at extra cost). Continue to Xizhou, enjoy a traditional horse carriage ride through the scenic countryside and thousands of mu of rice fields, arriving at the popular photo spot “A Field by Erhai Lake.” Later, experience cycling along the Erhai Ecological Corridor, with views of Cangshan Mountain, Erhai Lake, and iconic photo locations such as the Couple Tree and S-Bend Corridor Bridge. A complimentary travel photography + aerial drone shoot is included (per family: 4 digital photos + one 60-second video). Join a joyful Bai ethnic dance experience led by local “Jinhua,” then visit Dali Ideal City (Santorini of China) for photo-taking and panoramic lake views. After the tour, transfer to the hotel for check-in (Meika Seaview Inn, Yunshang Seaview Inn, Zouzou Tingting Seaview Inn, Liu’an Huaming Inn, Yueshiqin Inn, or similar; hotels may be adjusted to the same standard).

After breakfast, visit Dali Old Town (Foreigner Street), a historic city built in the Ming Dynasty, featuring ancient city walls, traditional Bai residences, and a relaxed local atmosphere.

Lunch is provided as a nutrition meal pack, then transfer to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Area. Take the Yunshanping Cable Car to enjoy spectacular views of snow-capped peaks, alpine meadows, and pristine forests (optional upgrade to Glacier Park Cable Car, subject to availability and altitude conditions; not recommended for guests sensitive to high altitude). Guests who do not join the snow mountain tour will transfer directly to Lijiang and enjoy free time.

In the evening, guests may explore Lijiang Old Town independently, strolling through Sifang Street and experiencing the city’s famous “slow-life” charm (optional Lijiang Impression show at own expense). As the old town is an open area, guests return to the hotel on their own.

After breakfast, visit Shuhe Old Town, one of the earliest settlements of the Naxi people in the Lijiang Basin and an important, well-preserved town along the Ancient Tea Horse Road, known for its tranquil atmosphere and traditional architecture.

After the tour, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to Blue Moon Valley (also known as Baishui River, electric shuttle not included), often called the “Little Jiuzhaigou of Lijiang.” On sunny days, the water appears deep blue, with crescent-shaped valleys set against the backdrop of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, creating a breathtaking natural landscape. After the visit, return to Lijiang and check in at the hotel (Gaogolf Home Jiahe Branch, Jingrui Hotel, Borui Hotel, Aizhe Mountain Hotel, Hailong Yunhe Hotel, Huatian Hotel, Lichun Hotel, Xilaifu Hotel, or similar; hotels may be adjusted to the same standard).

After breakfast, drive to Shangri-La and visit the world-famous Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the deepest gorges on earth, renowned for its dramatic cliffs and powerful river currents.

After lunch, pass by local Yi ethnic villages and continue to Pudacuo National Park, a pristine highland paradise known for its clear lakes, blue skies, alpine meadows, and dense virgin forests. Stroll through flower-filled grasslands and explore Shudu Lake, a beautiful plateau lake surrounded by untouched woodland.

In the evening, enjoy a traditional Tibetan Tusi Banquet, featuring yak hot pot, barley cakes, butter tea, and other local specialties, accompanied by a vibrant Tibetan song-and-dance performance. After the show, transfer to the hotel for rest (Zaxi Dele Hotel, Yicheng Hotel (Xianglaihua), Salong Hotel, Yunding Jinxi Hotel, or similar; hotels may be adjusted to the same standard).

After breakfast, visit the Shangri-La Cultural Expo Center to learn about local intangible cultural heritage, followed by a tour of Dukezong Ancient Town, where guests can help turn the world’s largest prayer wheel to pray for family and loved ones.

After lunch, drive back to Lijiang, then take a high-speed train to Kunming and check in at the hotel (Yunyi Duo Hotel, Lamute Hotel, Elong Wanguo Hotel, Elong Yitang Hotel, Zhongde Hotel, Huadu Hotel, City Comfort Inn, or similar; during peak season, if train tickets are unavailable, the return may be adjusted to overnight train from Lijiang, high-speed train from Dali, or coach transfer, with fare differences refunded accordingly).

After breakfast, visit the Free Independent Travelers Distribution Center, where you may select local specialties such as fresh flowers and regional products. According to your flight schedule, transfer to the airport for departure, concluding a pleasant journey in Yunnan (for flights departing before 12:00 noon, the visit to the distribution center cannot be arranged).
