Welcome to Beijing, the capital of our motherland. Our staff will greet you and take you to the hotel for rest. You will have free time today. You need to go to the Military Museum, Capital Museum, or Tiananmen Tower (choose one of the three) by yourself
After having a buffet breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the following attractions.
Tiananmen Square
Located at the core of Beijing’s central axis, it is a world-famous urban square and a symbol of China’s politics and culture. With key landmarks including the flag-raising ceremony and the Monument to the People’s Heroes, it is a must-visit to experience the solemn atmosphere of the capital.
The Palace Museum
Adjacent to the north of Tiananmen, formerly known as the "Forbidden City", it was the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties and a World Cultural Heritage site. Featuring red walls, yellow glazed roofs and a symmetrical layout, it houses the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the Treasure Gallery and over 1.9 million cultural relics, serving as a treasure trove of ancient cultural art.
Shichahai Scenic Area
A "water town in the city" in Xicheng District, Beijing, composed of Qianhai, Houhai and Xihai. Surrounded by historical sites like Prince Gong’s Mansion and dotted with hutongs, it combines natural scenery with the local vibe of old Beijing, making it a popular spot for leisure and exploration.
After having a buffet breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the following attractions.
Badaling Great Wall
Located in Yanqing District, Beijing, it is a well-preserved, representative section of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall and a World Cultural Heritage site. With solid city walls, dense watchtowers, and the famous "Hero Slope", it offers a spectacular view of the winding Great Wall from the top, making it a must-visit for Chinese and foreign tourists to experience the Great Wall culture.
Olympic Park
The core venue for Beijing's 2008 Summer Olympics and 2022 Winter Olympics (the world's first "Dual Olympic Park"). It houses the "Bird's Nest" (National Stadium) and the "Water Cube" (National Aquatics Center, converted to the "Ice Cube" for the Winter Olympics), serving both sports events and public leisure needs.
After having a buffet breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the following attractions.
The Summer Palace
China’s largest and best-preserved imperial garden, a World Cultural Heritage site. Centered on Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill, it features iconic spots like the Tower of Buddhist Incense and the Long Corridor, representing the peak of Qing Dynasty imperial garden art.
The Temple of Heaven Park
A site where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvests, a World Cultural Heritage site. Its buildings follow a "round south, square north" layout (reflecting the ancient concept of "heaven is round, earth is square"), with the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Circular Mound Altar as cores, embodying the traditional idea of "harmony between man and heaven".
The Old Summer Palace
Once known as the "Garden of Gardens" in the Qing Dynasty, it integrated Chinese and Western garden styles. Destroyed in 1860, it now retains relics, with the remains of the Western-Style Buildings as key attractions, bearing both historical warning significance and garden art value.
